Ibiza

Ibiza Facts and Figures

The third largest of the Spanish Balearic Islands, Ibiza (also known as Eivissa) is also the closest to the mainland, being just 79 kilometres east of Valencia. Well known as a centre for clubbers and ravers, it is actually a very beautiful island and has much more to offer than just its nightlife. The main town Ibiza Town is domnated by its ancient fortress, it has some beautiful buildings including the cathedral and the Bishop's Palace. The coastline is dotted with secluded coves and bays, many too remote to attract much attention, in these bays you will find delightful sandy beaches on which to spend an hour or two. Inland there are many unspoilt villages to explore and enjoy.
